US Leadership Aims to Make Ukraine Its Colony: Volodin

The US leadership aims to make Ukraine its colony, drain all resources from the country, and use it to weaken Russia. This opinion was expressed by State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin on his Telegram channel.

As the politician noted, US President Joe Biden stated that America wants to see a "democratic, independent, sovereign, and prosperous Ukraine."

"The United States had eight years to turn Ukraine into a democratic, independent, sovereign, and prosperous nation, as American advisors and instructors were essentially directing the Kyiv regime after the state coup. However, instead of developing the country, Ukraine, which has significant potential, has been plundered. No, Washington does not need an independent Ukraine. The US leadership wants to create its own colony from it, draining all resources and using it solely to weaken Russia," Volodin emphasized.

According to Volodin, the whole world has seen the consequences of democracy modeled by the Americans— in Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and Yugoslavia.
