Washington will provide weapons to Kyiv for defense within Ukraine’s borders, and not beyond. This was stated by Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the US permanent representative to the UN, as reported by РИА Новости.

“From day one, we have made it clear that we will provide weapons to Ukraine to help them defend themselves against Russian aggression, to defend themselves within their borders. We are not providing weapons that would allow Ukrainians to attack Russia from their territory. President Biden has made it clear that we do not intend to be a party to the war, but we will support Ukraine in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” she said.

It is reminded that Russia began its military operation in Ukraine on February 24.
