Ararat Mirzoyan is Leaving: What to Expect - 'Hayeli'

'Hayeli' newspaper reports: 'The deadline for submitting applications to become a member of the ruling party has expired; there are 48 nominations, but the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan has not been nominated from the current council, which has surprised the rank-and-file members of the party who have debated the reasons all day and drawn several conclusions.

Either Ararat Mirzoyan is unable to forgive Nikol Pashinyan, suspecting him of orchestrating his beating on the night of November 9, and subsequently stripping him of the position of Speaker of the National Assembly, and thus has decided to show that he does not wish to be part of the council led by him. Others have gone so far as to conclude that Mirzoyan is being prepared for a successor role.

It is noteworthy that the president of the Yerkrapah Volunteers Union, Sasun Mikhailyan, who left the team after the war and was not included in the parliamentary list, has also been nominated. Interestingly, Shirak Governor Nazeli Baghdasaryan has not been nominated either, while Lena Nazaryan has been put forward, and her husband Narek Babayan, who was a member of the current council, has not been nominated.

Also nominated is Mikael Hayrapetyan, who was not part of the previous council and is currently close to the Prime Minister's wife.'
