Russia Has Effectively Stopped Suffering Losses During Special Operation in Ukraine, State Duma Deputy
Russia has effectively stopped suffering losses during its special operation in Ukraine, which is the result of a change in the approach to conducting military operations. This was stated by Andrey Kartapolov, Chairman of the Defense Committee of the State Duma, as reported by Readovka.
“We have practically stopped losing people. The extreme figure published by the Ministry of Defense in March was 1,351 casualties. Currently, of course, there are injured personnel, but there are not as many fatalities. And this is the result of a change in the approach to the tactics of war,” he said.
According to Kartapolov, in the initial phase, when the Russian Armed Forces entered the territories under Ukraine's control, no weapons were used. However, after Russian soldiers began to be shot and captured, the tactics changed. “Now this tactic is bringing tangible results,” concluded the deputy.
