The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has discussed the implementation of agreements regarding the Artsakh issue with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This information was reported by the Kremlin's press service.

It was noted that the conversation took place at the initiative of the Azerbaijani side.

"The implementation of the agreements made by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, and November 26 was discussed, emphasizing the resolution of specific issues related to the establishment of peaceful life and consolidation of stability in the region, as well as the unblocking of economic ties and transport communications," the statement said.

Additionally, Aliyev informed about his meeting in Brussels with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and European Council President Charles Michel.

The leaders of the two countries have agreed to continue regular communications at various levels.

It should be noted that a trilateral meeting took place on May 22 in Brussels between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, European Council President Charles Michel, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. As a result of the joint discussion, agreements were reached regarding the opening of regional communications, the delimitation of borders, and the start of the commission's work on security issues.
