What will Jhangiryan reply? Karin Tonoyan
We must now go to the High Judicial Council because Gagik Jhangiryan said, 'Go ahead, if your request is not fulfilled, then you will come back to the High Judicial Council.' This was stated today, on May 30, during a conversation with journalists in the courthouse by Karin Tonoyan, the mother of Menua Hovhannisyan, a hero of Artsakh and a victim of the 44-day war.
It should be noted that the RA Court of Appeal, presided over by Judge Karen Bisharyan, has postponed the complaint against the decision not to initiate a criminal case for treason against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, which is currently being examined in a closed session. The meeting lasted 30 minutes.
“Where is the guarantee that we will come on the 1st, it won’t last another 30 minutes, they won’t listen in the same way and then leave again? I think we should go to the High Judicial Council now because Mr. Jhangiryan said, 'Go, if your request is not fulfilled, then you will come back to the High Judicial Council.' It is interesting what he will answer if we go to the High Judicial Council now, especially since we already have a second complaint that these trials should no longer last 30 minutes. How is it that there was a trial regarding our Galoyan case that lasted until night, while this case has so many victims and casualties? This is a manifestation of Nikoliism. That is, I listen for 30 minutes, leave, and don’t respond,” said Karin Tonoyan.
It is noteworthy that recently, the parents of fallen soldiers organized a protest near the High Judicial Council, where they met with the President of the High Judicial Council, Gagik Jhangiryan. The parents expressed their grievances to the President of the High Judicial Council, who urged them to use the procedural tools available and to request that the sessions be held in an open regime.
