Major Car Accident in Syunik Province: KamAZ Overturned

Today, on May 30, a major car accident occurred in Syunik Province. At approximately 5:10 PM, on the 194.5 km section of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, 36-year-old Arsen K. from Vayots Dzor Province lost control of his KamAZ truck, moving in reverse and colliding with another KamAZ truck driven by 42-year-old Nver A., also from Vayots Dzor Province.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamsyan, as a result of the collision, Arsen K.'s KamAZ overturned, and he was taken to the Sisian Medical Center with bodily injuries. Firefighters disconnected the vehicles from the power supply, secured the area, and then carried out cleaning operations. The overturned KamAZ was loaded with sand, which spilled and covered the road.
