Azerbaijan Quietly and Gradually Conquers the Syunik Region: Turkologist
Turkologist Varujan Geghamyan writes on his Telegram channel: "Azerbaijan is gradually (quietly and with small steps) conquering the Syunik region, taking more and more territories under the effective control of its armed forces. Meanwhile, it is carrying out fortification works there, laying the groundwork for subsequent attacks.
Azerbaijani President I. Aliyev and Turkish President R. Tayyip Erdogan openly discuss their claims to the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia almost daily, with a practical aim of eliminating the Armenian statehood (at least in the territory where it exists today).
In response to these de facto military actions, the Armenian government turns to a non-existent "international community" to "evaluate" Azerbaijan's hostile actions, once again talking about the absurdity of the "mirror withdrawal of forces," which has already led to the loss of new settlements since November 2020.
In other words, the enemy is conducting a creeping war, calling it a "peace agenda," while the de facto pro-Turkish government, led by capitulators, hands over our security to the goodwill of the "international community" and does not take any words or actions towards readiness to resist and defend.
The reality described above is not because this is the only possible option at this moment (as it is propagated daily), but simply because we continue to tolerate this capitulating government, surrendering our homeland.
And no justification for why we are not taking to the streets to fight works anymore.
We will meet tonight at 22:00 at our next lecture of the Armenian Project at France Square."
