Photos: Former Ukrainian President Arrested at Polish Border During Attempt to Flee

Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has been arrested at the Polish border while attempting to flee the country. It was previously reported that a criminal case had been opened against the former president on charges of corruption.

According to documents released by Ukrainian MP Irina Herashchenko, Poroshenko was supposed to attend the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Vilnius. MP Irina Herashchenko stated that the arrest of the former president at the border with Poland was a political order.
