Russian Ministry of Defense Reveals Interesting Details About Monkeypox
Russian Armed Forces' Chief of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, has stated that monkeypox has infiltrated from Nigeria, where at least four U.S. biolaboratories are operating.
According to a report from the WHO, the West African strain of monkeypox has entered from Nigeria, yet another country where the U.S. has established its biological infrastructure. According to available information, there are at least four biolaboratories under Washington's jurisdiction operating in Nigeria,” Kirillov said.
The general also recalled a peculiar coincidence that requires investigation by experts. “According to European and American media reports, the 2021 Munich Security Conference materials were discussing scenarios to counter an outbreak of a monkeypox virus based on new strains against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic,” the general noted.
Kirillov urged the WHO to investigate the operations of American-funded Nigerian laboratories in Abuja, Zaria, and Lagos against the backdrop of numerous violations of biological safety requirements by the U.S. and facts of careless storage of pathogenic biological materials, and to inform the international community of the results.
Kirillov also reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense has learned that currently, 98% of patients are men over the age of 20 with non-traditional orientations. He added that David Hermann, head of the WHO's emergency department, had earlier stated in an interview with American media that the main reason for the spread of the disease is the virus’s sexual transmission.
