Location of Meeting between Mher Grigoryan and Shahin Mustafayev Revealed

The meeting between the Vice Prime Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Mher Grigoryan and Shahin Mustafayev, took place on May 24 at the border near the village of Yeraskh. This was reported to news.am by the office of Vice Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.

“The date of the next meeting has not yet been determined,” the office stated.

It should be noted that within the framework of the implementation of agreements reached between the two countries and based on relevant directives, the first meeting between the Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan and the Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev took place at the interstate border on May 24, 2022, in the format of joint work of the commissions on border demarcation and security issues.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties reaffirmed their willingness to work within the framework of the commissions on demarcation and other related issues, including ensuring border security. Organizational and procedural matters of the joint activities of the commissions were discussed.

Alongside meetings at the interstate border, the parties agreed on the appropriateness of utilizing various platforms for future meetings of the commissions. In particular, it was agreed that the second meeting would take place in Moscow, and the third in Brussels.
