Lieutenant Colonel Andranik Gasparyan Awarded Title of Hero of Russia

Lieutenant Colonel Andranik Gasparyan has been awarded the title of Hero of Russia. The award was presented to him by Russian President Vladimir Putin for his heroic actions during the military special operation in Ukraine.

This information was shared by Alexander Burkov, the governor of the Omsk region, on his Telegram channel.

Lieutenant Colonel Gasparyan and his coastal defense brigade successfully captured a bridge over a river in the Kherson region. Despite being surrounded for three days and enduring aerial and artillery strikes, the soldiers prevented enemy forces from advancing.

The governor also stated that Gasparyan continues to fulfill his military duties. In the near future, a commemorative plaque will be installed at the school he graduated from.
