Increase in Police Forces Reflects Government's Fears: Vanetsyan

The increase in police forces reflects the fears of the government, stated the former head of the National Security Service and chairman of the "Homeland" party, Arthur Vanetsyan, during a conversation with journalists.

"Nikol Pashinyan's government, as a support base, exclusively relies on police forces. The person who declared himself a bastion of democracy today demonstrates that without a police barrier, he cannot find any space or take any step," noted Vanetsyan.

According to him, their actions are exclusively peaceful, and the accumulation of police forces is unnecessary.

The chairman of the "Homeland" party assured that this is the path to regime change, stating that there is no other way.

"Undoubtedly, there will be a regime change. We did not come just to demand a change of power; we came to ensure that those who have seized power do not hand over Artsakh and parts of Armenia and lower the level of the Republic of Armenia's sovereignty," he added.
