Economic growth would have been significantly higher without the blockage at Upper Lars: Kerobyan

Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan wrote on his Facebook page: “In April 2022, the economic activity index reached 108.8%, while the January-April figure was 109.4%. It is noteworthy that after March's 106.7%, economic growth has accelerated.

It should be mentioned that this growth would have been significantly higher if it were not for the blockage at Upper Lars, which the Government of Armenia is working on from various directions to rectify the situation as quickly as possible. Today, I had a fairly detailed video discussion with my Russian counterpart Maxim Reshetnikov and other colleagues.”
