Statements Indicate Armenia is in Danger – Abrahmanyan
The "Resistance" movement has surrounded the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, blocking all entrances. According to Tigran Abrahmanyan, a member of the parliamentary group 'Honorable' of the National Assembly, the statements made in Brussels have solidified the concerns that the public has had in recent months.
“Armenia is being led solely by a Turkish-Azerbaijani agenda; it is evident that Artsakh will fall under Azerbaijani control. When it was stated that the rights and security of ethnic Armenians would be ensured, that has nothing to do with the right to self-determination, it has nothing to do with independence, this directly means handing over Artsakh to Azerbaijani control,” the opposition MP stated.
Abrahmanyan emphasized that their struggle is not only for Artsakh but also for Armenia. “The statements being made clearly indicate that Armenia is in danger. The conditions of these days determine the physical presence of Armenians in this region,” he highlighted.
According to Tigran Abrahmanyan, the government's agenda is not one of peace: “This is a process of the peaceful surrender of Artsakh and Armenia. The authorities have made a political decision to simply surrender; this is the second phase of capitulation.”
