VIDEO: Pashinyan is in Brussels for a Trilateral Meeting with Charles Michel and Ilham Aliyev

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has traveled to Brussels for a working visit, according to the government's press service.

As previously reported, the Prime Minister will have a private meeting with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.

“Today in Brussels, a trilateral meeting is scheduled to take place between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev,” the statement reads.

Earlier, the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, stated that there are no plans to sign any documents during the trilateral meeting in Brussels between the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the President of the EU Council, Charles Michel, and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

It is recalled that Azerbaijan has sent a proposal to Armenia to normalize relations. The proposal consists of 5 points. The Armenian Foreign Minister, Ararat Mirzoyan, noted that the Armenian side considers it essential to continue negotiations on a peace treaty within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group's co-chairmanship and according to its mandate. However, as is known, following the 44-day war, the Azerbaijani side, represented by President Ilham Aliyev, seeks to exclude the OSCE Minsk Group, claiming that it has not facilitated the resolution of the issue for years and cannot do so now.
