Police Concentrating Forces: Don't Allow Any Employee to Enter or Exit - Sahakyan
Participants of the "Resistance" movement, who have marched from France Square to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, continue to blockade the building. Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ishkhan Sahakyan stated: "We appeal to our compatriots inside the MFA building; there are prepared diplomats there, detach from Nikol and do not bear the treacherous responsibility that he has assumed. With this blockade, we demonstrate that every operation of this building is anti-state and against our interests."
He called on citizens to join their struggle and help collectively block the ministry buildings. "Including the Ministry of Education, which has long been fighting against our church, culture, and national values. We express our indignation and block the operations of state structures. I urge you to stay vigilant and not allow any employee to enter or exit. The police are concentrating forces, and we must also concentrate our forces. I propose we advance, create a chain; our goal is to secure all entrances through this corridor. These entrances must be held firmly since the police are concentrating forces," Sahakyan announced.
It is noteworthy that participants of the "Resistance" movement gathered in France Square early on May 24, from where the march began through the streets of Yerevan.
