Fine for Littering in Unauthorized Areas to Increase Tenfold

The fine for littering in unauthorized areas is set to increase tenfold. The relevant bill developed by the city authorities will be presented for government discussion. This was announced by Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan during today's council meeting.

“The draft bill amending the law on administrative offenses will be submitted to the government by next Friday,” he stated. Sargsyan noted that the current fine is 5,000 drams and it is proposed to raise it to 50,000 drams.
