What Notifications Are Sent to Russian Diplomats' Computers: Zakharova Reveals

Russian diplomats abroad are receiving notifications on their work computers urging them to make the "right decision" regarding the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. This was announced by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in Yekaterinburg.

“Diplomats, while searching for something on the internet or checking their mail on the computers installed in embassies, press the start button, after which a message appears on the screens in the following context: ‘Good afternoon, we are reaching out to you. We understand that you are currently deciding whether to support what has been announced in Moscow or to make another, correct decision based on your conscience and moral qualities, which we know are very high. If you choose the latter, here is the phone number you can call,’” stated Zakharova, detailing the content of the notification.

“There is also creativity when announcements are made at stops located in front of embassies or along the routes of our diplomats, inviting the attention of Russian diplomats and providing the same information,” Zakharova added.
