Driver Falls Under His Own Car and Dies

On May 16, at 13:40, the police received a report that a citizen was hit by a vehicle near one of the houses on Maxim Gorky Street in Stepanavan and had left the scene. It was determined that around 13:00 in the specified area, 60-year-old Lernik Chatinyan had exited his 'Opel Zafira' after parking it, but the car began to roll away on its own. Lernik Chatinyan attempted to stop it, but fell underneath the vehicle and died.

An investigation is underway.
