Family Involved in Accident While Rushing Son to Hospital After Poisoning Incident

Today, May 19, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 03:30, 50-year-old Gagik G. from Armavir was driving an Opel Astra on Abovyan Street in the village of Sardarapat when he veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree.

According to reports from shamshyan.com, G. G. and his passengers, 71-year-old Z. B. and 24-year-old G. G., both residents of Armavir, were hospitalized with injuries at the Armavir medical center.

Sources indicate that the driver of the Opel and the injured passengers are family members, and they were transporting their son, 32-year-old H. G., who, according to preliminary information, had consumed a toxic chemical in an attempt to commit suicide. While presumably hurrying to get their son to the hospital, the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the crash.

The Armavir police department's investigative division is preparing materials regarding the attempted suicide case.
