Young Man Falls into Pit from Second Floor of Abandoned Building in Yerevan

On May 14, at 11:15 PM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a citizen had fallen into a pit (approximately 7 meters) on Koryun Street in Yerevan, requiring the assistance of rescuers to be freed.

This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia. A firefighting unit and a rescue team from the special operations center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

It was found that the citizen had fallen from the second floor of a former cable car's abandoned structure and sustained injuries. Rescuers extracted D. K. (born in 2002) from the pit with injuries and brought him to an ambulance, from where he was hospitalized at the “Heratsi” Hospital Complex No. 1.
