Daughter-in-law Steals 10 Million Drams and Gold Jewelry from Father-in-law's Bedroom in Martuni
On May 12, a resident of Vaghashen village reported to the Martuni police that from October 2, 2021, to April 24 of this year, his daughter-in-law and her mother had repeatedly stolen 10 million drams and 3 gold rings from the bedroom wardrobe of his private house. The police reported this.
As a result of operational-investigative measures taken by the division's criminal investigators, the suspects from Lusakunq village in Gegharkunik Province were brought to the Martuni division, where the 22-year-old daughter-in-law confessed and explained that during the mentioned period she had stolen 10 million drams, 2 gold rings, and one gold cross from the aforementioned house, handing them over to her mother, who was aware that the items were stolen.
Her 48-year-old mother also confessed and stated that she had spent the money and sold the gold jewelry. Investigations are underway.
