Aftershocks of Yesterday's Earthquake Revealed

On May 14, at 21:14 local time (17:14 GMT), a magnitude 4.5 earthquake was recorded by the seismic monitoring network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia at geographical coordinates of 41.20° north latitude and 43.96° east longitude. Aftershocks followed the main quake, as reported by the Ministry.

As of 08:00 on May 15, the number of aftershocks has reached 30, with the maximum intensity recorded at a magnitude of 1.7.
