Vucic Wins Serbian Presidential Elections Again
In the presidential elections held on April 3 in Serbia, the current leader Aleksandar Vucic emerged victorious. This was reported by РИА Новости, citing data from the Republican Electoral Commission. According to Газета, Vucic garnered nearly 59% of the votes.
As per the agency's information, on May 9, the electoral commission confirmed the final results of the presidential elections during an open session after discussing complaints and conducting repeat voting at several polling stations. Over 6.5 million citizens had the right to vote, with voter turnout exceeding 58%.
According to the electoral commission, Vucic's closest competitor, Zdravko Ponoš, managed to obtain only 18.39% of the votes.
