VIDEO: Moment of Silence at Red Square

In honor of the 77th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, a military parade is being held at Red Square in Moscow, Russia. Vladimir Putin delivered a speech, after which everyone in the square observed a moment of silence to honor the memory of the Soviet soldiers who perished in the Great Patriotic War, emphasizing that no one should forget the lesson taught by World War II.

Following the moment of silence, the ceremonial march of troops commenced.
