Two Citizens Enter Lake Sevan by Boat and Have Not Returned; Rescuers Begin Search Operations

On May 6, at 18:16, the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center received a report that two citizens had entered Lake Sevan by boat from the coastal area of the Vardenik-Zolakar villages and had not returned; assistance from rescuers was required.

An operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' special water rescue unit and one motorboat have been dispatched to the scene. Search operations are currently underway.
