Pregnant Woman Hit by Car Dies in Hospital; Baby's Life Also Not Saved

A pregnant woman who was hit by a vehicle has died at the "Nairi" Medical Center shortly after the incident.

According to Hraparak.am, the woman was struck by a government motorcade vehicle earlier today. We have learned that attempts to save the baby’s life were also unsuccessful.

Earlier, it was reported that a government convoy hit a young pregnant woman at the Leo-Paronyan intersection. On April 26, at 18:24, the police operational management center received information about a woman being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Leo and Paronyan streets. The RA Police confirmed this news.

Preliminary information indicates that the woman was hit by a vehicle from the Road Police, specifically a Toyota model, which was on duty at the time. The injured woman was transported to the "Nairi" Medical Center, where her condition was evaluated as critical.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
