UN Works with Russia and Kyiv to Evacuate People from Azovstal

The United Nations continues to work with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Moscow, and Kyiv to organize another evacuation of civilians from the Azovstal steel plant and Mariupol. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

UN Secretary-General spokesperson Stefan Dujarric stated during a briefing that there are individuals in the plant's tunnels. “It is difficult for us to say an exact number. We continue to work with the ICRC, Ukraine, and the Russian Federation at the highest levels to facilitate the evacuation of more people from Mariupol and Azovstal,” Dujarric said.
