The death of the country's citizen has been confirmed by an official representative of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. “We can confirm that one British national has died, and we are providing support to their family... We are aware that one British national is missing, and we are urgently verifying the information,” said the official.

According to the television channel, the deceased, 36-year-old Scott Sibley, and the missing person could have been participating in combat with Ukrainian forces as volunteers.
