Gunfire in Tavush Province: The Shooter is a 37-Year-Old Woman
On April 23, gunfire was reported in Tavush Province. At approximately 18:30, the Tavush police department received a call about gunfire at a residence in the Aygedzor community.
According to Shamshyan.com, the operational group of the Tavush police department, led by the day's supervisor, rushed to the specified address.
Police found that earlier that day, at around 17:30, a 37-year-old local resident, Lusine D., fired a shot at 30-year-old Sanasar A. during an argument in her backyard with a pneumatic weapon of the 'Tigr' type. Thankfully, no one was injured as a result of the gunfire.
Lusine D. informed the police on the scene that Sanasar A. had taken the weapon from her hands, hurled insults at her, and subsequently inflicted an injury on her arm. She then retrieved a knife from her house and threatened to harm him unless he returned the weapon.
Police are preparing materials regarding the incident at the Tavush police department.
