Car Accident and Fire in Kotayk Province: A Couple Hospitalized

Today, on April 27, an extraordinary incident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 19:00, a ВАЗ 2106 model car veered off the roadway on Kotayk Street in Abovyan and crashed into the wall of house No. 17.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, both the driver and passenger were helped out of the vehicle by bystanders and were promptly transported to the Abovyan medical center by an ambulance.

Following the collision, a fire broke out in the car; however, due to the swift and effective actions of local residents, the spread of the fire was prevented. According to G. Shamshyan, the victims are a married couple who, after receiving necessary medical assistance at the Abovyan medical center, were transferred to the National Burn Center in Yerevan.
