Australia to Send More Than $19 Million in Heavy Weaponry to Ukraine

The Australian authorities have announced plans to increase the volume of military aid being sent to Ukraine by more than $19 million. This was reported by TASS, referencing ABC.

The assistance package for Kyiv will include heavy artillery and munitions.

Expected shipments to Ukraine will include six 155mm M777 howitzers, capable of reaching targets up to 30 kilometers away, along with the necessary ammunition.

As a result, the total amount allocated by the Australian government for purchasing weapons for Ukraine will rise to $161.6 million.

Currently, there are no specified timelines for the allocation of the new assistance package to Ukraine, nor are there other details available regarding support for Kyiv at this moment.
