Russian Defense Ministry Reports Pantsir-S Downing Two Ukrainian Tochka-U Missiles
The Russian Federation's air defense systems have downed a Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft in the Kharkiv region, while in the Chornobaivka area, the crew of the Pantsir-S targeted and destroyed two Tochka-U tactical missiles in mid-air. This was announced on Saturday by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov.
"Russian air defense systems have successfully targeted a Ukrainian Air Force Su-25 aircraft in the Novaya Dmitrovka area of Kharkiv region. In the Chornobaivka area, the crews of the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile system and other missile systems destroyed two Tochka-U tactical missiles and three multiple rocket launchers in the air," he stated.
According to Konashenkov, during the night, a total of 15 Ukrainian drones were also destroyed, including one Bayraktar TB2 over the Novaya Zarya locality of Mykolaiv region.
"Throughout the night, the Russian Aerospace Forces' high-precision missiles struck 11 military facilities in Ukraine, among which are seven strongholds and assembly points for manpower and military equipment. As a result of the strikes, the adversary lost personnel from two companies, 25 units of armored vehicles, and transport vehicles," Konashenkov added.
