The Head of the Central Administrative District Resigns

The Head of the Central Administrative District of Yerevan, Aved Poghosyan, is resigning from his position.

“Dear friends, my mission in the field of community service is coming to an end. My almost 2.5 years of activity as the head of the Central Administrative District has been a great experience for me. In these difficult times for our homeland, I have tried to do everything within my capabilities to implement necessary reforms in the part of Yerevan entrusted to me, serve the community, and create public good. I have managed to accomplish a lot, and what I couldn’t complete, I am confident that the leaders who will succeed me in the Central Administrative District will diligently realize,” Poghosyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to carry out this important mission. I would like to express my special gratitude to my team in the Central Administrative District, without whose selfless and responsible work it would not have been possible to achieve positive results. I wish success to the next head of the Central Administrative District and the staff in serving the community. I will inform those interested in my future activities in the near future,” he added.
