Kyiv Does Not Allow Those in Azovstal to Surrender: Putin

During a phone conversation, Russian President Vladimir Putin told European Council President Charles Michel that after the liberation of Mariupol, an order was issued to halt the attack on Azovstal, and the lives of all those who lay down their arms are guaranteed, as reported by the Kremlin's press service, according to RIA Novosti.

It was noted that after the liberation of Mariupol, an order was given for humanitarian reasons to cease the attack on the industrial zone of the Azovstal plant.

At the same time, the Russian president stated that the lives and dignified treatment of all servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and national militants are guaranteed under international law if they surrender their weapons; however, the Kyiv regime does not allow them to take advantage of this opportunity.
