Court Fines Google 4 Million Rubles
The Moscow court has fined Google 4 million rubles for publishing false narratives about Russian military losses and civilian casualties in Ukraine, TASS reports.
“The court received an act from Roskomnadzor, which was drawn up against Google in accordance with part 2 of article 13.41 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. This occurred after the publication of several videos on YouTube, where information was disclosed about the losses of the Russian armed forces during the special operation against Ukraine and the casualties among the civilian population in this country,” said Judge Timur Vakhrameev.
According to him, the Attorney General's Office had previously sent a request to Google to remove these videos, but the company did not comply.
