Mishustin Urges Pashinyan to Actively Utilize National Currencies
The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, during a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan, emphasized the importance of actively using national currencies in trade amid the context of sanctions. He also highlighted the need to expand industrial cooperation and open new opportunities for trade.
"In the context of illegal sanctions imposed by unfriendly countries against Russia, it is, of course, crucial to actively use national currencies in bilateral trade, develop industrial cooperation, and open new opportunities to expand mutual trade in all directions," he stated, as reported by RIA Novosti.
Mishustin added that decisions adopted within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, particularly concerning the reduction of customs duties on the import of raw materials, food products, and components, will ensure the sustainable development of the common market, based on the interests of member businesses and consumers.
