All of Kyiv's Requests for Arms Supply from Germany Have Been Completely Transformed, Reports Bild
All of Kyiv's requests for arms supply from Germany, including heavy weaponry, have been completely transformed. The Bundeswehr has reduced the list of arms exported to Ukraine at least twice, which were previously prepared by representatives of the country's defense industry at Kyiv's request. This is reported by Bild.
In particular, according to the German publication, heavy weapons have been removed from the list. As explained by Chancellor Olaf Scholz's office, such changes were made at the initiative of the country's top leadership, including German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
"The list has been reduced from 48 pages to 24 pages. Thus, instead of the 15 types of weaponry pointed out by Kyiv, Germany has retained 3 items," Bild clarifies.
In this context, President Zelensky's recent demarche is recalled, as he categorically refused to accept German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Kyiv, accusing him of "excessive sympathy for Russia."
