Materials Found in Kherson Regarding 20 Escort Girls Used for Espionage and Even Sabotage

Russian security forces have discovered another isolated room with a separate entrance in one of the offices in Kherson, thanks to the memoirs of a former employee of Ukrainian special services.

According to RIA Novosti, materials have been found in Kherson concerning nearly 20 escort girls whom Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service used not only as spies but also for special missions and even sabotage operations. The media cites Ukrainian intelligence documents that have come to its possession as the source.

An agent of the Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service, posing as a photographer, gained the trust of the girls and offered them personal interesting prospects. Russian forces managed to uncover one of these 'photographers', identified as Alexander Badenkov, a colonel with the Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service and head of the 5th Department in Kherson.

Often, the 'photographer' offered gullible clients attractive marriages in the West and Russia, and sometimes introduced them to wealthy clients, promising jobs with great prospects. It is reported that recruited girls were sometimes simply offered regular work as escort-informants, while the more capable ones were transferred to closed educational institutions of the Foreign Intelligence Service for training.
