Suspect Identified in New York Subway Shooting Incident
New York authorities have identified 61-year-old African American Frank Robert James as a suspect in the subway shooting incident. Law enforcement is currently searching for him. New York City Mayor's press secretary Fabien Levy has denied reports on social media regarding the arrest of the man who opened fire in the subway car.
"Frank James is the suspect in yesterday's shooting. I want to clarify that he is not in custody at this time," Levy stated on Twitter. Previously, the man was listed as a 'person of interest' in the case.
It is recalled that on April 12, a man opened fire at passengers in the New York subway, injuring more than ten people.
