Ukrainian Opposition MP Viktor Medvedchuk Arrested

The Security Service of Ukraine has announced the arrest of Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the political council of the Opposition Platform – For Life party, on Telegram. This was reported by Gazeta.

The agency published a photo of a man resembling the politician in handcuffs. The message states that the operation involved members of the SBU and was carried out under the instructions of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

President Zelensky himself had previously announced Medvedchuk's arrest.
