Abramovich Buys Turkish Club Göztepe Instead of Chelsea

Turkish media is reporting that Abramovich has purchased the Göztepe football club instead of Chelsea. According to D-Smart Spor, the details of the deal will be officially announced on Friday, April 8.

The former owner of Turkish Göztepe has resigned following the team's poor performance in the national league. Göztepe is currently in 18th place in Turkey's Süper Lig.

Previously, Abramovich announced his intention to sell Chelsea, which he had owned for 19 years, but the deal has yet to materialize due to sanctions imposed on the billionaire.
