VIDEO: We See No Problem Here. Cadastre Committee Head on Property Acquisition by Turks and Azerbaijanis in Armenia

The legislative regulations regarding property acquisition in Armenia are such that citizens from any country can acquire non-agricultural immovable property in Armenia. This was stated today, March 28, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly by Suren Tovmasyan, the head of the Cadastre Committee.

“If I’m not mistaken, since 2002, starting from the point of registration of rights until today, we have had 72 units of immovable property acquired by Turkish citizens. Most of them were apartments, while a portion consisted of small public facilities, and so on. We see no problem here,” he said.
