Tension in Central Yerevan: Attempts to Desecrate Artsakh Flag Again

Currently, there is a tense situation in the area of France Square in Armenia's capital. Starting from 3 PM, the "National Democratic Pole" is holding a rally at Liberty Square, while a group of individuals has gathered in the vicinity of the Opera House, fearing and having information that the participants of the rally may desecrate or remove the Artsakh flag displayed in France Square, as they did yesterday.

Just a short while ago, the police intervened to prevent clashes between those guarding the Artsakh flag in France Square and supporters of the "National Democratic Pole" rallying at Liberty Square. The latter have again attempted to make incursions against the Artsakh flag.

It is worth noting that yesterday, Advisor to the Attorney General Gor Abrahamyan informed via his Facebook page that the video footage of the desecration of the Artsakh flag has been studied and forwarded to the Armenian police.

The Artsakh flag was placed in France Square by members of the Youth Organization of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation following the rally held by the opposition ``Armenia`` and ``Honorary`` factions on April 5.
