Measures Being Taken to Ensure the Safety of Neighboring Villages, According to Artsakh Information Headquarters

During this period, the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh are in active dialogue with the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces stationed in the Republic. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

‘All efforts are being made for the Russian side to implement appropriate measures at all levels within the framework of its mission to return the Azerbaijani troops that invaded the area of Parukh village in the Askeran region on March 24 back to their original positions. At the same time, the armed forces of Artsakh are taking additional measures to ensure the safety of neighboring villages. We expect that as a result of persistent efforts, the Russian peacekeeping mission will be able to address the issues that have arisen within its area of control and, after the withdrawal of the Azerbaijani side, provide additional security guarantees so that the peaceful population can return to their homes,’ the statement said.
