Air Temperature to Rise by 15-20 Degrees

The Hydro-Meteorology and Monitoring Center reports that the air temperature across the country remains 6-8 degrees below climatic norms. The low thermal background will persist until March 28.

Last night in the region of Tashir, the minimum temperature reached -18 degrees, while in Aparan, Tsaghkadzor, and Jambarak it dropped to -14 degrees.

Starting from March 29, warm air currents from tropical latitudes will approach Armenia. This intrusion will begin on March 29 and continue until April 3.

As a result of the penetration of warm air currents, during the period from March 29 to April 3, the air temperature across the entire republic will gradually rise by 15-20 degrees compared to the preceding days.
