Armenia Secures First Medal at European Boxing Championship Under 22 in Croatia

Armenia has secured its first medal at the European Boxing Championship Under 22, taking place in Croatia. In the under 60 kg category, Elida Kocharyan faced off against Suvi Tuijula from Finland in the quarterfinals and left no chance for her opponent.

Just 20 seconds into the bout, Kocharyan delivered a knockout blow to her rival. By the end of the first round, with only 30 seconds remaining, she landed a powerful strike that concluded the match in her favor.

The athlete has now advanced to the semifinals and has already secured at least a bronze medal.
