Western Sanctions Only Strengthen Russia: Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated that Western sanctions imposed against Russia have only served to strengthen the country. “I must say that sanctions have always made us stronger,” he said in an interview with RT.

A number of Western countries have imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation. As previously noted by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the Western sanctions are quite serious, and Russia was prepared for them in advance.

He added that they demand an analysis from the agencies and a coordinated response mechanism to develop measures that align with the interests of the Russian Federation.
