Moscow Stops the Eight-Year War Against Kyiv: Lavrov
Russia is stopping the war that the Kyiv regime has been conducting against the population of Donbas for eight years, announced Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as reported by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated that Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba had asked him to convey a message to Lavrov regarding the necessity of a political resolution concerning Ukraine.
“The Iranian Foreign Minister conveyed Mr. Kuleba’s desire that it is necessary to urgently stop the war. I can assure you that this is exactly what we are doing. We are stopping the war that the Kyiv regime has been waging against the inhabitants of Donbas for at least eight years. This war must be stopped especially now,” said Lavrov.
